Speech And Dictation

A.I.med 9.1 works natively with Dragon® Medical 11. We have tested several headsets, including many wireless models with exceptional results while dictating directly in the EMR.

We have tested the BlueParrott® Talk Pro B1000-GTX, Plantronics® Voyager Pro and the Philips® Speech Mic Air, each of them preformed as expected, produced great results.

 

HP Touch-Smart PC

Navigation is easy and fast with this desktop All-In-One. Users can navigate with a mouse or simply use a finger or stylus to navigate and draw on screen.

PC Specs: Windows® 7 or Vista with 32 or 64-bit, running at least 2.2 gHz Core2 Processor with a minimum of 50GB hard drive space, DVD/RW Drive, and 4GB RAM.

 

 

Desktop Computers

A.I.med runs well on most modern desktop computers with the following specs and technology.

PC Specs: Windows® 7 or Vista 32 or 64 Bit, or XP running on a 2.2 gHz Core2 or faster processor, 2GB+ RAM, 50GB+ Hard Drive, 19” LCD, 100/1000 Network, keyboard and optical mouse.

 

 

Laptops

A.I.med runs well on most laptops with the following specs and technology. Remember that weight is also a factor, unless you are placing it on a rolling cart or counter.

PC Specs: Windows® 7 or Vista 32 or 64 Bit, or XP running on a 2.2 gHz Core2 or faster processor, 2GB+ RAM, 50GB+ Hard Drive, Wireless N, 12.1″ LCD display and a DVD ROM.

A.I.med can run on the Mac using the Intel Core 2 + Processor. Boasting a high-performance, the sleek all-in-one Macs have the power to change how you interact with your computer.

PC Specs: Intel Core2 2.5 gHz processor, OSX, 4GB RAM, 100GB Hard Drive space, Parallel or VM-ware running Windows 7, Vista or XP Pro.

 

 

A.I.med v9 and the iPad2 Coming In mid to late 2012

Looking to go mobile, the next generation of A.I.med will soon launch on the new iPad2. A.I.med features will include access to the EMR for creating and viewing of Patients Notes, Medications, Vitals, Vaccines, Lab Orders, Allergies, Clinical Reminders, and Images. Data plans on 3G/4G or WiFi access will be required.

 

 

Dedicated Servers

A.I.med runs on a dedicated Windows® OS based server that is housed at your location. No internet required for daily use.

Server Specs Recommended:

Xeon or QuadCore processor with a 2.5 gHz or faster processor, Windows 2003, 2008 or 2011 Small Business or Standard Edition, 32/64 Bit, RAID 1 SATA (500GB x2) Hard-Drives, 8GB RAM, 17” LCD, Keyboard, mouse, DVD, Gigabit Ethernet.

 

 

Ambir 820i Hi Speed Desktop Scanner

The Ambir 820i-scanners offer outstanding price/performance value in a compact footprint making it well suited for the front-office environment. Low Speed Desktop USB All-In-One Scanners

A.I.med works with many USB All-In-One desktop scanners like HP and Dell. These are multifunction printer/scanner/copiers and are affordable and reliable. Acrendo tests many manufacturers including most HP and Dell Laser models.

Digital Signature Pad

The signature pad allows the patient to sign in without the use of a paper sign-in sheet. HIPAA requires all patient data to be private and secure. The electronic signature pad allows each patient to feel confident that their information is private and secure.
