I am writing this letter to share my thoughts and experience that I have had with you and your staff as my practice transitions from traditional practice management to your Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. At first, I was somewhat reluctant to even explore EMR technology, as I mistakenly believed the cost would be excessive and run upwards $35,000. Thankfully, in our first meeting with your consultant you should me how wrong I was as the cost was only a fraction of what I had believed it would be. Your system has fit perfectly into my practice and almost feels like it was designed specifically for a small practice such as mine. Over the past several months, I have found it to be easy to customize to my practice and incorporate many of my own custom templates right into the system while continuing to run my practice on a daily basis.

As I am not a real “computer person”, I had some concerns as to how secure and safe your system would be. These fears were relieved when you showed me how my system would automatically back itself up every night and how easy it was for me to check on it from my home using my own PC. I still can’t get over how quickly the transition for my office occurred from our being novices to now fully self sufficient in EMR!!

I truly feel that as a result of this conversion, I now actually practice better medicine as I can spend more time with my patients and less time on their paperwork. I am very appreciative that Acrendo put me in front of the curve as far as going to an EMR based office is concerned and could not be happier with the product and the support I have received throughout this process.
